Innovative Mechano-Device Research Core
Asst. Prof. Shingo TAJIMA I am Shingo Tajima, the newly appointed assistant professor of Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology. I have joined Shinno-Yoshioka Laboratory in Innovative Mechano-Device Research Core from July 2019. My research interests are precision motion control and optimal trajectory generation.
I received Dual Ph.D. in Robotics and Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University in Spring 2019. In my dissertation, I researched about smooth trajectory generation for machine tools and industrial robots to achieve high-speed and high-accuracy machining.
I'm looking forward to working with outstanding researchers and students at Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Asst. Prof. Dongbo ZHOU(Specially Appointed) I have been assigned to the Haraguchi Lab. as a special appointed assistant professor on this July.
I came to Japan since 2007 as an exchange student. During the fourth year of the undergraduate course and the master course, I did research about the industrial manipulator. After graduation, I worked in Fuji Electric.co for four years. In 2015, I came to Tadano Lab., department of Mechano-Micro Engineering, Tokyo Tech. as a doctor student. My research was about the surgery assistant robot, and I got doctoral degree with the research on the operator's haptic sensation in a master-slave system.
I would like to make more advance for the next generation surgical robots, and contribute the medical field for the aging countries in Asia and the world.
