REPORT

P&I Lab. Open House 2015 was hold on Friday, October 30, under a beautiful autumn sky.  We are profoundly grateful to know that almost 120 visitors, mainly researchers and engineers affiliated with companies, came and joined us. Our special thanks also go to Office of Industry Liaison, Tokyo Tech Alumni Association, and Precision and Manufacturing Ceter and Semiconductor and MEMS Processing Center of Technical Dept. of Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Keynote lectures at Suzukake Hall began with an opening remark by Director/Prof. Hidenori Shinno, and followed by lectures of Prof. Makoto Sato entitled "VR Environment and Haptic Interfaces" and of Prof. Haruo Houjoh entitled "Research on Fundamental Machine Elements in P&I Lab.: Gears for Power Transmission". About 110 people enjoyed their impressive lectures which provided novel topics in technology as well as research history in P&I Lab.   

We feel thankful for warm comments as well as productive suggestions from visitors, which significantly encourage us organize better events and explore further research objectives in the future.
