Applied Electronics Research Core

I have been appointed as a professor at Nano-Sensing Unit (NaSU) and the Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology (FIRST), Institute of Innovative Research (IIR) on July 1, 2024. I specialize in the field of integrated circuits and their application technologies, and have been researching CMOS wireless communication circuits, ultra-high sensitive MEMS accelerometers, low phase noise oscillator technology, and Edge-AI systems for livestock under the national projects of NEDO, JST, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. I am also working on social implementation, for example, by starting an integrated circuit design venture in 2020. Semiconductor integrated circuits are an extremely important strategic technology directly related to social infrastructure and security, but Japan is facing a serious problem of technological decline and a depletion of human resources. I believe "people" are everything. Tokyo Tech, which have produced outstanding researchers and engineers, and Institute of Science Tokyo will be the key to overcoming this challenge. I will continue to strengthen our ties with inside and outside the university, while striving to produce even better research results, and will also focus on fostering human resources and successors.
