Novel cancer detection technique using circularly polarized light scattering: Asst. Prof. Nozomi Nishizawa（Imaging Science and Engineering Research Center）
Recently, Professor Nozomi Nishizawa from the Institute of Innovative Research, Tokyo Institute of Technology, collaborated with Dr. B. Al-Qadi (Palestine Technical University) and Takahiro Kuchimaru (Jichi Medical University) have experimentally demonstrated the novel cancer diagnosis technique with scattering of circularly polarized light and clarified that the progression degree to depth direction can be estimated.
These findings have been published in Journal of Biophotonics, March 2021, and the schematic illustration of this research has been adopted as its inside cover.
