Imaging Science and Engineering Research Center
Prof. Youichi OGASAWARA(Specially Appointed)
I joined the Research Center for the aggregation of Social and individual sustainability as of February 1st, 2025.
I have long been interested in rules and technologies regarding public authentication methods online. The purpose of this method is to identify who sent message online, to which organization the sender belonged to, and whether the transmitted message was tampered. In order to simplify procedures in governments or healthcare through this method, significant efforts have been made, and it actually seems to have borne fruit. These days, this method seems to be gaining more attention, and more people may have started recognizing it as an effective way to check the credibility of information online, which could serve as a new form of social infrastructure. In this circumstance, I regard it crucial to make more efforts to find how to make the method widely used. I look forward to your guidance and support.
Digital Twin Unit
Asst. Prof. Keiichiro YAMAMURA
My name is Keiichiro Yamamura. I have been appointed as a new Specially Appointed Assistant Professor at the Digital Twin Unit, Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology starting from February 1, 2025. I received my Ph.D. from Kyushu University in September 2024 and subsequently worked as a research staff at the Institute of Science Tokyo. My research focuses on mathematical optimization and deep learning. During my doctoral studies, I developed efficient adversarial attack algorithms using mathematical optimization techniques to enhance the reliability of deep learning models. As a research staff, I have been involved in developing key technologies for digital twins and their social implementation, as well as exploring industrial applications of quantum computers. I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward to working and collaborating with all of you.
