In the seminar, outline of damage to steel school buildings caused by 2016 Kumamoto earthquake was reported from Assoc. Prof. Jun IYAMA (Univ. of Tokyo), observer seismic damage on steel structural members and connections were reported by Assoc. Prof. Soichi KISHIKI (Tokyo Tech), and example of damages steel school buildings were reported by Assist. Prof. Takanori ISHIDA (Tokyo Tech). Seminar was operated by Kanto branch academic network of JISF and co-operated by IIR Tokyo Tech.
