Imaging Science and Engineering Research Center
Prof. Yukimitsu Kono(Specially Appointed)
I joined the Research Center for Aggregation of Social and Individual SusTainability as of 1 May 2025.
I worked as a qualified pharmacist in a professional association and I also worked on IT, ICT and DX in healthcare mainly in pharmacies.
While general business transactions take place between two parties, healthcare is provided by qualified medical professionals, such as doctors and pharmacists, for the benefit of their patients.
If someone impersonates a doctor or pharmacist, it is the patient who suffers the damage.
Developments such as online medical care mean that we are increasingly interacting with people we do not know well.
For this reason, I believe it is important to further deepen our research on the authentication of individuals and qualifications on networks.
I look forward to your guidance and support.

Innovative Dental-Engineering Alliance Research Core
Prof. Nobuhiro Yoda(Visiting)
I am Nobuhiro Yoda, appointed as a Visiting professor at Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology (FIRST). I received the PhD (dentistry) degree from the Tohoku University Graduate School of Dentistry in 2007, and since then, I have been working on research with the main theme of “clarifying the biomechanics and mechanobiology of the oral and maxillofacial system based on actual in vivo measurement information.” Currently, I am researching to realize “tailor-made prosthetic medical care” based on rational prediction of clinical outcome based on CAE, AI, and data science, as well as individual optimization of prosthetic design, prosthetic devices, and various materials based on actual in vivo measurement data analysis. I would appreciate your guidance and encouragement.
